For the past 13 years Dain Blanton has traveled the World representing the USA in Beach Volleyball. Dain became the first ever African American to win an AVP Beach Volleyball tournament in 1997 winning the AVP Hermosa Beach Grand Slam. Dain pushed forward and improved even further going on to bring home the Gold for the USA in Beach Volleyball playing with Eric Fonoimoana in Sydney in 2000. He also returned to the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004 becoming the first and only male beach volleyball 2-time Olympian from the USA.
Dain is now focusing on the world of sports broadcasting where he is currently covering NBA (LA Clippers), MLB (Dodgers, Angels) NCAA hoops and football (USC, UCLA) as well as Volleyball (AVP, FIVB, NVL, Cuervo Pro Series and NCAA). He has worked for NBC, ESPN, ABC, Fox Sports and Universal Sports.
